The Fig Tree Health Group has been producing natural vegetation cell foods since it was originally founded by Alfredo Bowman, aka Dr. Sebi, and his wife Maã Bowman, over 45 years ago. The Bowman family has maintained the original formula and integrity of the products that were developed by Dr. Sebi and Maã in the mid-1970s, and were marketed internationally by the couple jointly under the Fig Tree name. Maã has remained the matriarch of this legacy to this day, continuing the vision set forth by her and Dr. Sebi from the very beginning. Clarifying the legacy that we carry through this work has become critical for protecting it and the African bio-mineral balance approach to health which has cured countless people.
